Each grid has one and one only path to the finish square (marked F). It is your task to find that path. The correct path starts from only ONE square at the edge of the grid. But which square?! All the other squares lead to dummy paths within the grid. The example below shows a Direction Maze Puzzle
| 1D | 2R | 1D | 2L | 2L | ||
| 2R | 1R | 2D | 1L | 2D | 1D | 2L |
| 1R | 2D | 1R | 1L | 1D | 3L | 2D |
| 1D | 4D | 2R | F | 1U | 1U | 2L |
| 1U | 1R | 2R | 1U | 1L | 2U | 2U |
| 3R | 3R | 3U | 1R | 1L | 3L | 1L |
| 3U | 1U | 4U | 3U | 3U |
The right path for example would be 1 Right, 2 Down, 1 Right, 2 Right, 1 Left and then 1 Up. This gets you to the Finish (highlighted in green in the Direction Maze Puzzle below).

| 3R | 3R | 3U | 1R | 1L | 3L | 1L |

One wrong path could be 2 Left, 2 Down, 1 Up and then 1 Down. You can see in the grid below you get stuck in a loop!!!

The grids are available to print and the solution can be viewed in a printed or non-printed format.
