North West Chamber Award 2007 Impact of Technology on your Business.
We were pleased to receive this award in October.
It shows the high standards we reach using technology to benefit our customers.

July 2006 - The winners of the National Business Awards Regional Finals for the
North West and North east of England were announced on 11th July at The Palace
Hotel, Manchester. Fisher Educational was once again Highly Commended in The
Best Use of Technology Award.
June 2006 - In the Reebok Stadium Premier suite, the first BEN Bolton and Bury
Business Awards were staged 29 June 2006. The Awards highlight and reward
individuals and businesses that have achieved outstanding results over the past
year. Fisher Educational won the Innovation and Design Award for the
outstanding ventures 10ticks.co.uk and websiteboffin.co.uk. Dubcnn.com and T3D
(part of the Tickle group) were highly commended.
2005 - 10ticks.co.uk beat off stiff competition to win a prestigious E-commerce
award at the national awards gala dinner at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London
October 6th 2005.
The awards recognise best practice in the development of information and
communication technologies (ICT) by UK business and public sector communities.
Awards are presented to individuals and/or project teams that demonstrate
clarity of thinking and development/deployment of an approach that has the
capacity to change the ICT paradigm in their particular technology/market
sector.
The National ICT Innovators Awards are designed to exemplify the true applied
technology innovators in the marketplace today and were open to all sizes of
organisations from SME's to large enterprise and the public sector.
10ticks Director Ian Fisher said, "We are absolutely delighted to have won such
a high profile award. It reflects the passion and dedication of the 10ticks
team and their commitment to the improvement of Numeracy standards in this
country. As a company we exemplify everything that these awards stand for and
are very proud of our achievements."
2005 - 10ticks was runner-up in the ‘Best End-to-End Integrated Business’
category in the North West E-Commerce Awards. The winners were announced at the
Reebok Stadium, Bolton on the 16th September 2005. Ian Fisher and Paul Openshaw
received the runner-up certificate. Ian said, "I am extremely pleased with the
consistency we have shown in these awards over the last few years. The range of
businesses entering is huge and competition immense. It shows the standards
everyone at 10ticks applies to make the website such an overwhelming success."
2004 - 10ticks was runner-up to Flowers Direct in the 'E-Trading' category in
the North West E-Commerce Awards. The winner was
announced at the Daresbury Park hotel, Warrington on the 10th September 2004.
Director Ian Fisher proudly received the runner-up certificate, "I am overjoyed
that all our hard work is appreciated giving us the chance to aid the education
of our children".
2004- HP Business Vision Award - Runner up prize for 10ticks.co.uk In July
10ticks.co.uk was awarded one of only two runner-up awards in the National HP
Business Vision Awards 2004, receiving recognition for demonstrating excellent
innovation and creativity.
The company has won a HP Compaq Business Notebook NX5000, a HP PSC 2510
Photosmart all-in-one printer as well as six months of free HP printing
supplies. In six months time, 10ticks will have a case study published by HP
Business Vision, looking at how microbusinesses use HP technology.
2004 - The winners of the National Business Awards Regional Finals for the
North West of England were announced on July 15th at The Palace Hotel,
Manchester. 10ticks.co.uk was Highly Commended for The Best Use of Technology
Award.
2004 - 10ticks won E-Business of The Year in The North Manchester Business
Awards for Excellence and Achievement. Ian Fisher, 10ticks director, picked up
the trophy at the glittering ceremony hosted at the Reebok Stadium, 9th June
2004. The Awards highlight and reward individuals and businesses that have
achieved outstanding results over the past year.
2003 - 10ticks was runner up for the 'Best Growth through Technology' category
in the National Sage Business Awards.
The results were announced at the St James Park, Newcastle on the 16th October
2003. All nominees were entertained after the ceremony by Johnny Vegas, flown
in especially for the event.
2003 - 10ticks was runner-up to Dabs.com in the ‘E-Business’ category in the
North West E-Commerce Awards. The winner was
announced at the Thistle Hotel, Haydock on the 11th September 2003. Below are

2003 - 10ticks was one of four finalists for the ‘E-Business Strategy of the
Year’ in the National Business Awards
for the North West Region. Dabs.com won, completing a double by also winning
the Business of the Year Award 2003 for
the North West.
2002 - 10ticks was a finalist in the ‘Micro Business’ category in the
E-Commerce Awards for the North West Region.
2001 - 10ticks won the ‘Bolton and Bury New Small Business of the Year’ Award
and came runner up in the ‘Success through E-Commerce Section’ to Dabs.com.
