Size does Matter for Love
According to a study by Dr Boguslaw Pawlowski of the Royal Society a man knows
when a woman is for him by the distance he looks down on her! Height is the
crucial factor and other vital statistics such as waist and chest come second.
Only when a couple decide that their height ratio is right do they consider
other features such as looks and body shape.
The perfect height ratio for comaptibility is 1:1.09 (Man's height/Woman's
height). This suggests that the ideal mate for a woman 5ft 8in tall would be a
man about 6ft 2in. In contrast a woman of 5ft 2 in might seek out men 5ft 8 in
height. The study suggests that David Beckham (6 ft) and Victoria Beckham (5 ft
7 in) are an almost ideal couple. David would need an extra inch to make him a
true Mr Perect!
As with most theories this breaks down for extremes as very tall men prefer
very short women and vice versa, an apparent attempt to have average sized
children. Is this true at home?!!

If you began to count pound coins at the rate of one a second, how long would
it take to count one million pounds, one billion pounds and one trillion
pounds?
Online Worksheet Helps
You will now notice we have over 1000 helps written. This completely covers
level 5-10, the GCSE course. Thes can be accessed through the help page as a
reference to the worksheet page or just by searching for a topic. A help
consists of an explanation of the topic followed by a test (different each
time). This test is marked on line, and for those logged in, the scores
recorded. This builds up a profile of your child's ability over a period of
time and can be diagnostic and remedial in nature.
Alternatively the helps can be accessed through the Revision page. Click on the
area you want to revise. 24 questions appear, which are marked on line, and for
those you get wrong you can click through to the explanation.
Can you afford not to use such a brilliant free resource?
